AAA Art Show 2023
Entry Registration Packet
1. Everything you need to enter the AAA Fall Art Show is in this packet. Instructions & Guidelines (page 2).
2. Submit Pre-Registration Form and $5 per artist registration fee via check or CAM to box in AAA room by October 20. (See below).
3. Framing Guidelines. (Page 2).
4. Attach a completed Hanging Tag to each artwork entry (Page 4)
5. Bring your artwork entries to AAA Studio on Wednesday, October 25 at your designated time:
Last name begins with A-L bring your art between 10 – 11 AM.
Last name begins with M-Z, bring your art between 11 – 12 noon.

Guidelines & Directions for Entry
Fall 2023 All About Art Club (AAA) Show
< >Participation is open to all AAA Club members in good standing. All experience levels are encouraged to participate. Entry fee $5/artist. Each artist who displays is expected to volunteer in some capacity to support the show. See volunteer opportunities listed on the Pre-Registration form. < >Each artist may submit two (2) pieces of artwork. The two pieces combined may not exceed a total of 1248 square inches, including the frame (example: two 24”x26” framed pieces).One large piece submitted must be no more than 1248 square inches.The minimum size of a piece is 12x12 framed and maximum weight of each piece is 6 pounds.Art mediums eligible for entry: acrylic, mixed media, oil, watercolor, pastels, drawing. If fewer than seven pieces of art are entered in a category, they will be grouped as Other and not judged. Only original work is accepted for entry. Art must be made solely by the artist. The composition may not be copied from another artist’s work.Composition from a photo taken by someone else must include written permission.Art may be made in a class/workshop, or AAA Open Studio, but not when everyone paints the same subject guided by instructor. < >Art NOT eligible for entry:Work previously displayed in AAA room or window.Work previously entered into an All About Art Show.A Print made from your original artwork.Art made in class/workshop where everyone paints the same subject guided by instructor.A piece weighing over 6 pounds (maximum weight of a piece is 6 pounds).Crafts: ex. ceramic, glass, fiber/textile/fabric, leather work, wood, furniture.Each entry must be Pre-Registered by Wednesday, October 20.Pre-registration begins September 11 (packets in the AAA Studio).Place completed Pre-Registration Form with $5/artist fee in box in AAA room. < >Framing guidelines: Frame with D-rings or sturdy eye screws, mounted into frame, positioned 1/3 way down the frame. Non-framed canvas art must be at least 1 3/8” deep; sides of artwork must be finished. The depth of the frame must match the depth of the canvas.Do not use saw tooth hangers, or undersized eye screws. See Framing Guidelines Sheet and Framing Example in the AAA Studio.Submit Entry: Attach completed Hanging Tag (specific to 2023 Fall show) to back of your artwork. Bring entries to AAA room on Art Drop-off Day, Wednesday, October 25 at assigned time.Entries will be weighed, measured, and verified for hanging.To manage traffic please bring entries at your designated time: Last name begins with A-L bring your art between 10 – 11 AM.

Show guests will pick their favorite for the Peoples’ Choice ribbon. < >Sold art has 7% sales tax + 10% AAA commission deducted from sale price. Closing the Show
Artists who do not wish to leave an art piece to be displayed on the AAA Gallery Wall are asked to pick up their piece(s) between 3 and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Instructions: 1. Complete one Hanging Tag form for each piece of art (see page 4 for tags).
2. Attach Tag to back of artwork.
