Monthly Wall Hanging Guidelines

Each artist is permitted to submit two pieces of artwork per month
-
Artwork must be original in concept and execution. No copies or giclee’s
-
Art that is made in an instructor-led class, where all students paint the same thing, is not eligible
-
Canvases 1 3/8 inches thick or more may be unframed but must have finished edges, with no tacks or staples showing

Canvases less than 1 3/8” must be framed
-
All art must be wired appropriately using d-rings or screw eyes
-
A sample of correct wiring is on the counter at the front of the studio

Artwork that has been shown before may be re-displayed after 6 months
-
The art on the Display Wall will be taken down for artist pick-up the Wednesday before First Saturday Sales. New art must be brought to the Art Room for hanging by 2 PM Thursday before the First Saturday sales. There will be some exceptions, including the months of Creative Vision, Art in Bloom, and the Spring and Fall Art Shows.

All sales are subject to a 10% Club commission and 7% sales tax

- Art club members may put a total of 3 pieces in the bins

- The maximum time a piece may be kept in the bin is 60 days. Replacement months are
January, March, May, July, September and November. After 60 days, the bin art should be
replaced with a new painting or print.

- An official All About Art information card must be attached to the back of the artwork or print
with your name, price, media and phone number. All pieces must be dated from the first of
the replacement month when placed in the bin.

- Watercolor paintings must be matted, with light weight hard backing, and slipped into a clear
plastic sleeve or shrink wrapped.

- Acrylics do not require matting, but should be stable with hard backing, and slipped into a
clear plastic sleeve or shrink wrapped.

- Prints should be matted with a light weight hard backing, and slipped into a clear plastic
sleeve or shrink wrapped.

- All sales are subject to a 10% Club commission and 7% sales tax.
