I moved to SC Hilton Head in 2003 from
Gloucester, Massachusetts. Gloucester has
a rich fishing and artistic history. I consider
myself a hobby artist. My journey began with
plein air watercolor workshops gifted by my
husband, leading me to explore acrylics in
American and German folk art.
After moving to Sun City, I joined the AAA
Club and fell in love with pencil and ink
drawing. While I primarily work with graphite
and colored pencils, I'm also exploring pastel,
watercolor pencils, and pen and ink.

instructors who give so generously of their
time and knowledge.

“The Featured Artist” for the month of
September. I hope you find something to
