I love the art club! It’s extraordinary!
We moved to Sun City in 2016 from Iowa, California, Kentucky, Illinois, New York, and Wisconsin.
When we moved here, I took every single class from each of the teachers. A huge thank you goes to each of them. I came as a wife, mom, and nurse; and suddenly, I was heard
referring to myself as an artist! I learned about analogous colors, light sources, shadows, perspective, and values. I tried my hand
at pastels, oil, acrylics, watercolor, and drawing. I made collages and used alcohol ink. I tried and loved everything I could get my hands on, and I learned to participate in our club art shows, and
even in Creative Vision… although displaying my own art was RISK MADE VISIBLE, I could do it, and it was fun! I participated as a student, monitor, teacher, hospitality chair, secretary to the board, co-president, collaborator, and now I’m on the wall display committee. Every single step was great! I met wonderful people who are positive and thoughtful. All About Art is unique. I appreciate the members. Thank you all for making the club what it is!
