Time: 1:30 pm-4:00 pm

Cost: $25.00/class.  You initially need to sign up for 3 classes

which does not need to be consecutive. 

Going forward, signup for one or more classes at a time.

Mary believes that one should paint what inspires the artist. 

The student is to bring items or photos to work from.  

Student will receive individual attention and guidance on

their painting.  The lessons will include various watercolor

techniques, assistance with drawing, composition and the

role of color and values.  Mary will teach via discussions,

demonstration, personal attention, and examples.

All levels welcome from beginners to advanced.

Watercolor professional paper 140# cold press or rough

Watercolor professional tubes of paint

Cadmium yellow light, lemon yellow, Ultramarine blue, Cobalt blue, manganese or cerulean blue, Permanent Rose, Scarlet Lake, Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna.

Optional: Permanent White Gouache

Watercolor brushes: #6, #8, or #10 Round  only one to start

½ inch or 1 inch flat

#4 rigger or line brush

Pallett:  Any brand, white with lid

Sketch pad, #6 pencil, kneaded eraser

From home: old toothbrush, paper towels, 2 clear plastic containers for water, masking tape, a sturdy board to tape your paper to.


Optional: T-Square, masking fluid.
